God in His Glory

What God is Teaching Us 

Jared asked me today what God is teaching me.  Looking back over the past year, I’ve seen God continually showing me that he is ultimate.  I need to humble myself and rely on Him for everything rather than try to do it myself or rely on things in this world.  After realizing that Jared was almost taken from me, I see that God has an ultimate, good plan and He will complete a good work.  I need to rely on Him fully.

So…I asked Jared what he had been learning.  He said what every wife would like to hear.  “I’m learning to love you, as my wife, more.”  No, he was not trying to earn brownie points.  As he loves me sacrificially, we both learn how Christ has loved the church of Christ and gave Himself up for her!
